Yippee - I found a kit to make this little angel to share with one of you. If you are interested in having the kit please leave me a comment to be entered in the drawing. I will use a random number generator to draw on Friday afternoon for this lonely little angel that is just waiting to come to life!
My cookie recipe to share with you is for Gooey Butter Cookies and they're super easy to make. They disappear as fast as I can bake them around here.
I can hardly wait to decorate for Christmas every year. So the minute the Thanksgiving dishes are washed and put away I pull out the many giant tubs of Christmas decorations. My favorite decorations are the vintage ones - shiny brite ornaments, bottle brush trees, little cardboard houses, Santas, tinsel trees, feather trees, angels . . . OH MY I LOVE all of them! I often wonder how the original owners of my cherished decorations celebrated the holidays and what their holiday traditions were. Anything red or green I find around my house at this time of year might find it's way into one of the vignettes or under a glass dome. As soon as the tubs are spread out I look at photos from previous years to help plan where to put things as well as looking through holiday decorating magazine pages for some new ideas.
Please come back to visit for my "Twelve Days of Christmas" posts in early December . . . or look back through past years' Twelve Days posts for some decorating fun. Wishing you the happiest of holidays to share with your loved ones! xoxx, Renée

Thanks for the angel pattern. I need an angel for the top of one of my trees. Maybe this will be the one. Or maybe she would look good next to my beekeeper doll.
