Yippee - I found a kit to make this little angel to share with one of you. If you are interested in having the kit please leave me a comment to be entered in the drawing. I will use a random number generator to draw on Friday afternoon for this lonely little angel that is just waiting to come to life!
My cookie recipe to share with you is for Gooey Butter Cookies and they're super easy to make. They disappear as fast as I can bake them around here.
I can hardly wait to decorate for Christmas every year. So the minute the Thanksgiving dishes are washed and put away I pull out the many giant tubs of Christmas decorations. My favorite decorations are the vintage ones - shiny brite ornaments, bottle brush trees, little cardboard houses, Santas, tinsel trees, feather trees, angels . . . OH MY I LOVE all of them! I often wonder how the original owners of my cherished decorations celebrated the holidays and what their holiday traditions were. Anything red or green I find around my house at this time of year might find it's way into one of the vignettes or under a glass dome. As soon as the tubs are spread out I look at photos from previous years to help plan where to put things as well as looking through holiday decorating magazine pages for some new ideas.
Please come back to visit for my "Twelve Days of Christmas" posts in early December . . . or look back through past years' Twelve Days posts for some decorating fun. Wishing you the happiest of holidays to share with your loved ones! xoxx, Renée

Thank you, Renee, for this angelic little friend. She's looking a bit unsure of herself - perhaps waiting to be placed with her Christmas companions, or even a "new" confidante. The cookies looks scrumptious, and sound easy enough for me to try! Can't wait to see your decorating tips as the holiday nears. I am so enjoying the Twelve Days of Designers BLOG HOP!

Renee - Thanks for sharing! I can just picture the little angel in my cupboard, maybe next to the only other one I have ever made. Also, I see you are a fan of Jeanette Wells, my daughter(14) just bought Half Broke Horses and has already read The Glass Castle and has told me numerous times I should read both. I'm convinced now! Thanks again and Blessings! Jodi

Hey Girl! Love the doll! She is so adorable! Your recipe is one I had never heard about! I can't wait to try them... I can hardly wait to get out my boxes of vintage Christmas too! Last year my mom and I were out tag saling and we came across a guy who was selling his vintage christmas figurines. It was like a jack pot!!! The feeling you have when you come across a find like that is amazing! This will be the first year I debut them! Can't wait! Merry Christmas!!! I hope Santa fills your sock plump full!!! Stacy

I am ready to decorate for Christmas as well. My husband was deployed last year and I think that has contributed to us all being in the Christmas spirit so much earlier this year. The kids are already playing Christmas music and making paper snowflakes and hanging them in their windows. haha!
The project is lovely and the cookies look delicious! Thanks for participating and sharing with us!!!
