Fabulous Interuption!

OH my Gosh  the Judds were AMAZING!  We went to see them last night at US Airways Center in Phoenix.  Wynonna has the most beautiful voice and it's a VERY BIG voice!

I bought tickets a while back for a Christmas present to Bob and myself.  I felt a little guilty going since my nasty cold germs perhaps weren't completely gone but it was soooooo much fun! 

They put on a fantastic show . . . it was an INCREDIBLE evening! xoxx, Renée

My favorite tinsel tree has been on this bread rack for quite a few years . . . I added the three little houses on the red base this year after seeing the same tree in a magazine with some.  This tree was a reproduction tree from Seasons of Cannon Falls (Midwest Importers) and my friend Cindy found one this year on ebay . . . so if you love it as much as I do you might find one there too!

Oops that darn cold, cough, ? kept me on the couch ALL day yesterday instead of getting things done that need attention.  No one has time to be under the weather this time of year so I'm picking myself up by the bootstraps - hasta la vista being SICK!  Here is the 6th day and  the 7th day will appear a little later today to get caught up.  xoxx, Renée

These vintage little cardboard houses are two of my favorites.  It might be that they are red or maybe it's their funny little trees. 

Thank you for your thoughtful comments - they always warm my heart!  I've been a bit under the weather for the last few days with an annoying cold that I brought back from the Las Vegas rodeo last weekend - UGH!  Late nights, lots of germs and smoky casinos seem to provide the perfect storm for an icky cold! 

Also many of you know my dear friend, JoAnn, Mz. Wool Crazy, who needs our prayers for her darling daughter Megan.  Please keep Megan in your thoughts and prayers as she battles cancer.  She is going to be starting a new treatment called Ipilimumab since chemo did not work so please pray this will work.

The 4th day of Christmas

More snowman . . . I think these are Cody Foster snow people, a vintage quilt is the backdrop and a reproduction fence.  I sewed a red button on a piece of card stock with green thread to tie on the red sap bucket and stamped "NOEL" on it.  More tomorrow . . . xoxx, Renée
